Q. What are the optimal Ifc Export settings in Revit for creating an Ifc model File to import to dRofus?
A.
These are the export settings that I find produce a reasonable Ifc model.
- I usually export from a 3D view with all visible and define for "in session settings"

- I use the IFC 2x3 Coordination View version

- Next tab, ensure that Rooms are exported

- Make sure you export the Revit Property sets as well if you want to capture Revit Parameters in your Ifc Model

- Set detail to High or Medium for larger models

- Check most or all boxes in this tab

The resulting Ifc Model should contain the Rooms as "Spaces" in the Ifc Model
